G'day guys / girls

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I am trying to add an image function to my stories module. It will be a fairly basic alteration in that I will have the image online already and just want to store the image location along with the article. then when the story is viewed read the image back as
<img src="$ass_image" alt="Front Cover"  border="0">

So I am going through the story.php in \admin\modules and I can sort of understand some of it but what is throwing me is the following line
themepreview($subject, $hometext, $bodytext, $notes);

This line appears to be associated with the display of the actual story to screen (usuall within an echo call)
I can't find any reference to "themepreview" in this file is it getting this as a function from another file?
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers
moosus

themepreview($subject, $hometext, $bodytext, $notes);

Is a function if you adding an image you will need to add into that aswell so it gets carried from function to function.

themepreview($subject, $hometext, $bodytext, $notes, $ass_image);

Make sure you add into all places or you will get a missing argument error.

Hope you don't mind me asking more question 'cause I'm a bit baffelled. icon_eek.gif

Can you explain how the nuke can use the following code in forms so it appears without the punctuation:
echo "<br><br><b>"._STORYTEXT."</b><br>"
       ."<textarea wrap=\"virtual\" cols=\"50\" rows=\"7\" name=\"hometext\">$hometext</textarea><br><br>"

You see where it has ._STORYTEXT. it places in the text (in the form) "Story Text" ... HOW?
