Me and my cousin have been working on this sig and it keeps copying the text in the top left corner and placing it on the next frame. Any ideas?

The text is hidden in latter frames. It even shows up right in Image Ready. Its just when I convert it to GIF or JPEG that it screws it up . If you want Il send it to you over msn and you can look at it.

If you'll zip up the original .psd file and attach it here, I'll take a look at it for you.

It looks like the problem is with your tweening.

Open the original psd in Image Ready, and click on frame #4. If you look over in your layers pallett, you'll see that the text layer for "artillery specialist" is visible and has an opacity of 100%. In frame #5, the layer is still visible and has an opacity of 50%, but your text layer for the next word "Strategist" is visible with an opacity of 50% too. In frame #6, the artillery specialist layer is turned off and the strategist layer is at 100% opacity.

That leads me to believe that either you culled some of the tweening frames, or you set the tweening to only 1 frame when you created the animation.

To fix it, you need to delete all of the tweening frames and redo the tweening with at least 2-3 frames in between each text change. Make sure that you turn off the text layers you don't want visible before you do the tweening also.

No, because if you think about it, you have two transistions going on at the same time. During the tween, the first text layer is becoming invisible and the second text layer is becoming visible. Having only 1 tween layer means that the whole transistion tries to take place over 3 frames. Like this:

Frame 1:

Text layer 1 - 100% opacity
Text layer 2 - 0% opacity

Frame 2:

Text layer 1 - 50% opacity
Text layer 2 - 50% opacity

Frame 3:

Text layer 1 - 0% opacity
Text layer 2 - 100% opacity

You can see that on the 2nd frame, both text layers have 50% opacity, so they'll both be showing at the same time.
