i need help with button animation.

i need to animate the button in and out.

i have made a movie clip with a layer for the animation of the button, i have a button created with just the hit area, a layer with stop actions on the first frame and the mid frame.

i looked at a flash kit file and duplicated it exactly.

it should work, but its not.


does anyone know what the problem could be?

thanks.

i think ive got it sorted now.


the only problem im having is after it resets itself, it no loger is viewed as a button.

anyone know what the cause of this would be?

i would upload the fla file, but its about a meg because the button is included in the menu im making for the new version of my site.
