Has anyone been able to locate a module for phpnuke which can be used for prize giveaways? Basically a member submits their name for the prize, and if their name is chosen at random, they are notified they have won the prize?

I am looking to give away games on my site in the future, and am looking for some way for a member to sign up to enter the contest, then have a random drawing to see who wins.

I have found a lottery module, which works somewhat with 7.4 but it was made for 5.x

Is there any chance someone could update this module so it works with 7.x? It seems to get a few mysql errors when calling the database. I have attached it here if anyone wants to try.

I have one that I am trying to finish called Giveaways. I havnt decided wether it will be a free one or a commercial script. If it is commercial it won't be too much.

It will be a module for registered users only. It will offer a brief description of the prize also an image if you have one then a link for them to enter. Multiple drawings, set how many times they can enter per drawing, how many times they can get the prize. When the winner is drawn automatically it will show who won also if your the winner a link to claim the prize. It will start being used around here this week for some Christmas drawings we are going to have.

Sounds quite good. Let me know when you have it finished, I am shooting for a February 2005 start for the monthly game giveaways for my site. If you make it commercial, I am pretty sure I will take a copy.
