I was looking at tips.js used here at codezwiz on the tronix theme

and I was reminded of how boring alt tags can be in their default state and I decided to take your implementation a step further and make the tags scroll

with this script make the message in the tag scroll

but I am calling the script (which I named altscroller.js)
from within a simple block that displays an image

you can change the color and the message thats scrolls inside the tag
well I'll just upload it in a zip file with instructions and a sample block

you can see it in action (in the top left block with palm trees in it) just hover your mouse over it

Thank you Kelly,
I learned alot here!
And that means alot coming from you!
I did submit it!
I was meaning to come back to figure out how I could use it multiple times on a page - like I think I saw a topic on how you can use more than one js on same page
I kinda remeber how I did it in html with the body onload tag but I'll have to do some investigating -
I will be submitting anything I can come up with - that I think is worthy - and if I come across any questions I think I may have the experience to answer - I will!
Your site is AWESOME
My favorite site by far - although I frequent alot of php support forums
Telli has alway been there when I needed him and I am forever indebted!
See ya round!

Not quite sure what you mean, but here's what I think you mean. You can tell me if I'm totally out in left field or not.

If you have several .js scripts working on a page, it's best to put each script into it's own .js file and add this to your page (usually, but not always, the header file):

<S CRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript" SRC="scriptone.js">
</S CRIPT>
<S CRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript" SRC="scripttwo.js">
</S CRIPT>

and so on and so on.

Thats eactly what I needed to know
Can that be done from the header.html file in each indiviual theme?

I don't want to do it in header.php because the color of the tags will be theme related and what I will do when I try this is just add a number to the .js file name and update the code each time I place it where I want the tags -
You see - I am just not asking how to call more than one script but how to call the same script repeatedly in different locations on the page - when I tried to add the same code to a different block simply changing the path to the image it stoped functioning on the original image as well.

It left me scratching my head - so I figured if I just make copies of the same script and change the name that that might do the trick. Whudya think?

Thanks for any advice you can give in advance

You can add it into any page you want and still make it theme friendly just use the globals $bgcolor1, $bgcolor2, $textcolor1, these are included in all themes.
