Is it just me or is this site loading very slowly? Although the page gen times look nice at the bottom of the page it usually takes about 10 seconds for any page to load here lately. I notice the new flash logo takes a long time to load.

It seemed to be a bit slow last week, but I personally don't see any opening lag now.

This can't be just me cuz I've been browsing many nuke sites for quite some time now and this was one of my first that I started hanging out at and it is just purely miserable waiting for the pages to load here now.
The page gen at the bottom of the screen says it took less than 2/10ths of a second but I seriously had to wait over 20 seconds to start typing.
This doesn't happen at any of the Nuke sites I frequent but here.
I know that its gonna be a little slower because of the post count here..but the slow down started after the flash logo with this new theme was installed...that thing takes forever to load.
If you wanna run someone off your site...install flash.

33 seconds is what it took to finally see my post. I just posted at other nuke sites and was refreshed in less than 2 seconds.

Ok...any suggestions then? Macromedia is my default flash player. I thought I had a pretty good setup. 2.7 GH, DSL at T3 speeds...um you name it..and I'm run of the mill average here

If I could find a way for this site to load faster I would be a happy man!

beats me. i got a AMD athlon xp 3000+, 1 gig ram. 1 meg cable connection and everythin runnin smooth. sites loads in approx 2 seconds (if that).

Wow...beats me too...it took about 18 seconds to view your post. When I go to other sites with flash embedded they load like you're saying. I'm not convinced it's the flash but this site loaded extremely quick for me before the theme change.

which theme are u referring to?

Excellent question! I just changed themes here...the one I have been referring to was Tronix Yellow. I am now using skyline grey and its quite a bit faster..about 6 seconds or so for a page load here.
