I read this in another post here in the codezwiz help section "The gt section is for GTNextgen thats what this site is enhanced for" Can you please tell me what this is (or point me to some information)

Also, I was wondering what nsn is?

GtNext-gen is a mod_rewrite script which parses php pages and makes them html pages which search engines can cache and search better.

NSN is another version of Nuke that is little bit more enhanced and less buggy but doesnt have as many options available as of yet.

thanks, ok what does cache mean? I keep hearing this term is this some sort of storage? like memory?

The mod is basically just a rewrite tool that converts all your links to html versions so that search engines can browse them more easily. When you click on the html link it converts it back to php so that you can view the actual file. By enabling search spiders to probe your site you will move up in their ranks and will recieve more page hits.

It is a great tool, but unless you really understand the scripting, don't try to use it with custom mods. It is pretty difficult to write the scripts for new mods. If your site uses only the custom mods then you can just use the scrips provided in the download. Blocks aren't a problem as they have a block converter on the NextGen site.

I've installed the mod_rewrite code I found here. While some of my links are being rewritten as html, many others are not. Any idea why? Is there a good installation of GoogleTap for Nuke 7.6? Just curious! Thanks! I love your site and your scripts!

I've got the latest GoogleTap files. I'm using your CZ User Info block. When I visit the home page, I get links to members and the latest user in this format:
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

When I click on it, it takes me to a page that says no personal information is available. Then, if I go to the link to my name, it shows this format:
[ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

The second one works great. I don't understand why it isn't rewriting it for the index. Any ideas? Thanks!
