Hi there,

I love the theme and am using it, but I have a question. I'd like to change the background color on the forums from the dark gray to black. Where do I do that at? I've looked at style, theme, ect, and tried different things, but evidently I'm not hitting on the right thing.

Any help appreciated

take a look in the paradise theme forums folder, in there you should see a style.css file similar to that in the main paradise theme folder, try changing it in there.

Been a long time since a looked into the composition of a theme and taut was the main css stylist icon_mad.gif

New question you two. In the forums of this theme, when making a new post / replying, ect. there are only two black boxes for the preview and submit, not even a name showing what is what. any idea how this can be corrected?
Apreciate your imput.

in the forums.css files, look for this block of code:

input.button,input.liteoption,.fakebut{background:#111111;font-size:11px;color:#111111;
border:1px solid; border-color:#111111 #111111 #111111 #111111}
input.mainoption{background:#111111;color:#111111;font-size:11px;font-weight: bold;

Where it says color:#111111 change that to your hex code you wish. May I ask when you dl'd this file? To the best of my knowledge, that has been changed to show the correct colors...I could be wrong. My apologies for the mis-code....

Thanks for your help, Taut, that did the trick. I downloaded it about the same time I asked the first question. Oh, icon_wink.gif and it seems the image for 'new post' is not working correctly. When a new post is added, it still shows the image for 'no new post'. Anyway to correct that while we're at it?
Love the theme y'all did, that's why I keep working at it.

can you right click on th eimage and go to Properties...please tell me what name the image has?

also, can you make sure that the /themes/Paradise/forums/images/folder_new.gif image is in the right folder and has the correct path...

Reason am asking is cause it works ok for my test site...
