User can log in but not access the site

User can log in but can not access the site (only their account main page). I can log in with their name and passwords and have no problems. eusa_think.gif

Has anyone run across this problem and have an idea what causes this?

Have the user clean there cookies and perform a reboot. Then try it.

Thanks for the reply. But they have tried this and it did not work

They also can not log into another phpnuke site.

Someone once metioned something about the clock or time format on PHPnuke being a problem for some computers but I have not found any info on this. t

These people where all able to log in and then all of a sudden where no longer able to. icon_eek.gif

Oh and the only changes that I know of is that our server upgradedto PHP version to 4.3.11 and they host both of these sites.

Its a cookie setting on there computer either have them set them to low or medium. Also when they clean cookies make sure they clean the internet temp. files and perform a reboot. The reboot is the most important part because it resets the computer memory.

Thanks again, they have tried this again and no luck. The funny thing is the people this has happend to have not made any changes to their computers and just can no longer get access form one day to the next.

This is the third user this has happened to.. but the first one that has told me she can not log into another nuke site hosted by our provider.. this one is one is one of our moderators icon_cry.gif

The problems has been solved, not sure why this so:

Hey again

I can log in!!! I wanted to check the date for train times and put my mouse
over the date my computer had and it was on July!!! I changed it to todays
date and now I can log in....good knows why the date was wrong on my
computer.....
