_Error message when registering new members

Please help

I’m running version 7.5 of phpnuke. But i have a small problem. When someone registers on the site, if they do not complete the registration from the email sent to them, it seems to jam up the registering part of the site. When the next person submits their registration they get a " _ERROR " message. The only way i have found to get around this is to go into mysql admin and delete everything in the nuke_users_temp file. This seems to temporarily fix the problem.

Please help this is driving me nuts.

Is this the standard Your_Account module? If so attach your Your_Account/index.php in a zip file I will have a quick look.

a friend of mine tried signing up and let me know of the problem, as far as i know i havent edited anything in the file.

The exact error is just _ERROR ? Also please attach the file again and don't zip it in binary. I can open the above file but its hard to read in binary. One more thing check the your nuke_users_temp table and let me know the field names you have in there.

what would be the best programm to save it in?

the error is only _ERROR and appears under the banner.

i had a look in temp file, there are no names in there if there are it creates the ERROR message

Take a dump of your nuke_users_temp and attach that. Just rename the file to .txt and attach it.

username varchar(25) No
user_email varchar(255) No
user_password varchar(40) No
user_regdate varchar(20) No
check_num varchar(50) No
time varchar(14) No

the attached file index.php was saved in wordpad if that helps

i have managed to fix the problem. the file nuke_users_temp was corrupt. i deleted it and put a new file in and it all works fine now icon_biggrin.gif
