Hi all,

Ok, who can figure out a fix for this?

When I am viewing my site, PHPNuke Platinum 7.6 with theme T_Platinum, in Firefox everypage that gets loaded is fine with respect that the theme images are there instantly, however, if I view the site in IE everypage I goto reloads each indevidual theme image resulting in time wasted reloading each image.
This is not the settings on my pc as my wife has the exact same trouble on her machine.

Is there a way round this so that the images do not seperately load with each page?

Look forward to some ideas on this.

You can cache the image. Try adding this into your .htaccess file.


ExpiresActive On                 
ExpiresByType image/gif A2592000 
ExpiresByType image/jpg A2592000

Hi Telli,

Added the above and got this:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@********** and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Make sure there where no spaces before the directive. Also you may have to ask your host if mod_expires is active.
