no idea how this could be even sorta related to flash help, but anyway,
it depends on several things.....
1. What kind of Video outputs does your powerbook have? I believe most of then have a DVI output which can be used
2. If so, you would need a TV that preferably has HDTV support, you can use an S-Video cable or something comparable, but it would look crappy as heck, as S-Video has no where near the lines of resolution that computers and DVI-D do. The worst computer monitor you can get for any newer computer nowadays has WAYYYY better display than most of the HDTV's out there.(Without spending like 15 Grand)
3. The most common way that I know of for PC's is to use a dual-head graphics card with 1 VGA and 1 DVI output, and use the DVI- to connect to a DVI input on an HD compliant TV
Otherwise it's gonna look like the Abraham Zapruder film of the Kennedy Assassination.

This might not help but, Ive got my pc connected to my tv so I can watch films/games/music.
The way Ive got mine connected by using a a video transfer cable which is plugged into my Video slot on my graphics card, which is hooked up to a transfer cable which goes into a scart socket into the back of my tv.

If you go into any electrical shop and explain what your wanting to do they should know (if they are a good shop) what cables you will need as I dont have the packaging anymore and cant remember the names sorry.

Its very very simple to do and if you wanting sound which is best way, it will just come through your tv, but Ive got mine coming out the TV and HiFi.

Good luck with getting it sorted but as I say again its very simple.

I believe the term for something like that is a breakout box and yes they do have some good ones out there, but 'specially for a laptop, it can be a hassle if you carry it with you or do presentations and the like, you dont want to carry this thing with even more cords around with you all the time, but it is an idea.
There are a few ways to get it done, some better than others, others easier than some, but I'm an audio/video guy and I prefer quality over simplicity, but that's just me.

I mean I got a 350 lb Sony 42inch HDTV CRT(yes i said CRT!!!!) hooked up to a media center PC and I run a Logiitech 1000 watt max 5.1 system with a 10" subwoofer for my gaming machine, server and laptop(I love 3 inputs), that's superkill(not even overkill anymore!!), it's all in form and function I guess.(My wife spoils me)icon_mrgreen.gif
