Has anyone seen a way, OTHER than using HTML, to add advertising in the middle of the text of a news article. What I am looking at is something like most of the larger newspapers do on their websites. An example is here:

I was wondering if it would be possible to kind of add a "block" inside the text, or maybe just be able to drop a line of text/code that displays a random image. This way the advertisement changes randomly as the article is viewed. I guess it would be almost like a banner ad placed in the middle of an article. Just no banners, only 300 x 300 images, or something like that.

It would be nice if it would automatically add after xxx characters or something, but a simple drop in line of code that works in the Articles Submission area would be good too.

You could add it into the article page and just check the char:


if (strlen($bodytext) >= 300) {
   $bodytext .= "BANNER";
}


Something like that.
