Im using the javascript snippet for scrolling background from here and was wondering is there anyway to beef it up and use an animated gif as the image.
The site is [ Register or login to view links on this board.] and would really like to get the water in the background a little more animated, but keep using the scrolling background aslo.
It works great as a jpg, or standard gif, but not an animated one, it just brings out a solid color background.

FIXED- animated .gifs can be used, but the background scroll speed cannot be looped faster than the .gif's animation.
Other than that it works like a charm.
