I thing you have some wrong code in your config.php file.

Could you show the config.php codes here. DON'T FORGET to change or remove your info like dbname and username and sitekey! Just the file.

There could be another thinge about this, do you have right permission for your files and catalogs? files = 644 and catalogs = 755

ok, if it is the same config.php that you have on the server it shouldn't give you parse error.

There is another possiblity, if you check your config.php file on server and see if there is any empty line after the closing code of php (?> ) on it. Remove all the empty line after this code so it is the last code on that file.

I would like to help you with this issiue but without having access to your files on server it is a little bit hard. On the other hand I understand that you don\t wana give some stranger accesse to your Cpanel. So we go on here

I was thinking about another thing. In line 55 you see this code:

$dbuname = "root";

ok i fixed the database options and it was set to my username but it was missing the "...."; things around them then ir said invalid syntax so i stuck [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] instead of tollfreepage.com for database and now this what i get above shows problem with mysql if you need i can set you up with the cpanel if u can fix it properly for me

but I have a question: Do you have mysql db on the same host as your site? if yes so you don't need to write your url there.

let say you have a db which called MYDB and username MYUSERNAME and password is PASSWORD. Then your config should be like this:

yes everything is located all under the one site mysql php phpmyadmin so i will try this now if not i will send u a pm with username n pw if it dont work
