I have successfully edited the submit news module and the sql tables to add extra fields that we felt were missing, which works beautifully.

We submit the news it goes into the data base no problem even the new fields work fine they appear in the que table waiting for approval.

So the next part is to add the fields to the admin/modules/stories.php file which we did, we can view select the appropriate category the hole thing even re-preview the submission.

But here is our dilemma, once we click post story it doesn�t submit it to the sql stories table.. It�s empty and doesn�t appear anywhere on the site �

We need help were pulling our hair out at this point we have been 3 days and we just don�t see the error, as everything looks as if it should.

We modified the mainfile themepreview to reflect the new changes and thats what is so confusing it should be working but it dont post the story.

If anyone can please help this would be great�
