Not all codes im giving are realistic working ones, they are merely representations of how I see my idea working:

You have the drop down for option right:

<option value="Subject">Tourney Check-In</option>
<option value="Canasta">Pool 1vs1- 3:30pm</option>
<option value="Chess">Chess 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="Dominoes">Domino 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="Euchre">Euchre 1vs1- 9pm</option>

Now just say.. call this a name.. eg. "Tourneys"

The only thing that differs in a check-in form is the hidden input value called tcount.. which is the tourney number = eg. <input type=hidden name=tcount value="790904">

So what I think i have to do is along the lines of this.. change this code to:
<option value="None">Tourney Check-In</option>
<option value="565543">Pool 1vs1- 3:30pm</option>
<option value="234445">Chess 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="655324">Domino 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="234642">Euchre 1vs1- 9pm</option>

I have changed the option values to the tourney numbers.. keeping in mind that the above option action is called "Tourneys".
So now I change this code:
<input type=hidden name=tcount value="Tourneys">

So whateva the user choses, changes the value of the hidden input value tcount to that specfic tourney number.
Seem logical, but am I correct? And what are the right codes for this?

Have you tested it?

Well i dont know if it is correct Im not the one making it or using it. Have you tested it before asking questions about it? Maybe it will work maybe you will get errors that will help you fix it. Dont know till you try.

Ok now the error I get is invalid tourney number... the hidden value called "tcount" I did put "Tourneys" and I did name the select as "Tourneys" but it did't seem to match them together. Instead it just used the word "Tourneys" as the tourney number.. here is what the page looks like:
[ Register or login to view links on this board.] It has also made my images on the left look big and ugly as the text boxes seemed to change them. So now gotta edit those images and make the writing smaller or somehow fix them around the text inputs.. for now I am stuck tryin to correspond the value of tcount with the select value... Help would be appreciated... thanx guys

Are you going to update that dropdown everytime a tourney is made? Thats the only way i see that working and you will need to put the tourney # for each tourney in the options too. There is now way to get it to update from cases.

Yes I am going to update the "option values tourney numbers" so that users can check into a tourney.. but the tcount value is the one which I need to change.. it is the one it relies on. So I have to correspond it with the drop down value... i dont know how to do this.

<option value="None">Tourney Check-In</option>
<option value="565543">Pool 1vs1- 3:30pm</option>
<option value="234445">Chess 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="655324">Domino 2vs2- 7pm</option>
<option value="234642">Euchre 1vs1- 9pm</option>
