Hey guys, I was wondering if its possible to get a semi transparent background for the main window..

I tried to edit the following in tables.php
Line 22(approx):
Code:

<td bgcolor=\"#000000\"><table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"4\" cellspacing=\"0\" bgcolor=\"#000000\">


To
Code:

<td bgcolor=\"#000000\"><table width=\"100%\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"4\" cellspacing=\"0\" background=\"\images\bgtable.gif\">


bgtable.gif is a 20% transparent .gif file

This doesnt seem to work, but is there some other solution? I tried to edit the background code to background="\images\bgtable.gif\">
but that has no effect..


Is it possible at all?
(I have a static background picture)

Depending on the theme, you need to change the code either in the styles area or the theme.cfg file

You mean the theme.php ..? and what do you mean by styles area?

some themes have a styles folder that manipulates the whole theme. some have the codes directly in the theme.php. You'll have to check your files
