(warning: bad english ahead)

Hi!

Well, i've got a problem with the login in the forums of my site. The nuke login works fine, you login, go to your_account and that's it. i know it works because iget the username frome the cookie and it works.

case 1: when you go to the forums section you do not appear as a registered user, but as a guest. you have to use the login box in the forums (mine's at the top) to get in.

case 2: if you login directly in the forums section without doing it into your_account you get two effects: you are effectively logged in the forums, and as such can post and all that, but you cannot logout. you can push the logout button (it changes from login to logout, that is) but it does nothing, and after the redirect you are logged again.

what i want to do is to get the normal behavior of the system, that is, i want to login to your_account and be a user in the forums... and that's it.

regarding cookies, i tried several combinations and never got it right. here is my actual configuration from the config file of the forums:

domain name [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]
path community/modules/Forums/
site name [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

cookie domain [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]
cookie path /community/

The page is stored in a directory, [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

i have set up a test user, login probador and password prueba.

configuration:

I'm working with phpnuke 6.5 with phpbb 2.0.2 . I know is waaaay old, but i have some hacks that i cannot afford to loose (none in forums or your_account, btw, only a change in the position of the login box at the forums ). this means i cannot upgrade all the site, but i could upgrade only the forums section, if that's possible.

well, i think that's it. thanks in advance.
