Splitting phpbb colors in to groups.

Hi,
I was just wondering if its possible to split the forum colors.
Here's what I mean:

Forum 1 (Color blue) Subcats:white : Text Blue
Forum 2 (Color White) Subcats:Blue : Text white
Forum 3 (Color Red) Subcats: yellow: Text Red

and so on.

Reason I ask is that I have very different topics , unlike codewiz where 99% of it is dedicated to coding, html, php etc. My forums are broken into way different cats like sports, jobs, online gaming, dating etc.

I'm hoping there is a way to do it without installing a diff PHPBB for every forum.

Ok, I have multiple categories in my forums and what I would like to do is break each category out into diff colors instead of one plain 'ol boring color!

So each of the categories are listed on the index of your forums?

That would require quite a bit of hacking to accomplish. Easiest way would be to add into the administration section when you edit a forum have a field added for color. Then alter the Forums index page and add some code in there to change the text color if the color field is filled out in the admin section.
