:shock: First I'd really like to thank you all for your time and patience I have seen here.

I have tried to upload files for two days now. I got the ftp, and it seemed they loaded but when I looked in the files, nothing. then I uploaded a file there at the site, well now I have "shiney blue" above the themes file and I can't delete it. I have found no help in any of these issues and my host tells me to read- read what?

What I need to know is how do I upload a theme, specifically-do I have to take the file apart and upload the images in the image file, and so on? do I upload the whole file? I read here about norton interfering_ I have norton what do I need to disable? Before I got my site i saw all the cool nuke sites but once I arrived at my url, I was met with - get this all white themes! How could they possibly come up with so many white themes?
Please help me here. I really have tried to help myself and have no where else to turn.

You just upload the theme for instance Halloween you would upload that whole folder into your /themes folder when you view your themes folder it should be only the theme name Halloween then inside the folder is where the information comes from.

If your using the wsftp from this site there is an option in there to delete empty folders that will delete that folder your having problems with.
