Hey all,

I'm pretty much a newb to the php world. I've been using the ClanMTS theme from mtechnik's site for awhile. I recently upgraded from phpnuke 6.9 to 7.3. Since then, more forums have been "jacked" It looks like a table is not being closed properly in the code somewhere, but I can't find it.

When I go to any portion of the site that is related to phpbb (forums, forum profile, member list, etc) the left bar takes up half the screen and the right bar drops to the bottom left.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

i tried to go to the link you posted but it gave me a page can't be displayed error and more often than not...a theme is just cosmetic...it shouldn't have affected your upgrade if it was working fine before for your 6.9 version

I would re-check my upgrade scripts and files and make sure everything was done according to the read me file

Thanks Taut. I should rephrase what I did. I was using phpnuke 6.9 and the ClanMTS theme and it worked great. I did a clean install of phpnuke 7.3 (not an upgrade) and the theme doesn't work...even if I download 7.3 and the theme new...still a no go. I'd ought to email mtechnik I suppose. icon_rolleyes.gif

Looks like you have a bad table in your code. Check the overall_footer.tpl in the theme forums folder I think I see a </TR></TABLE> that doesnt belong there. You could also try a html validator that shows you the line errors to find it that way.

I have your solution cause I ran into the same problem.

Open /includes/page_tail.php

Find this piece of code:
$template->pparse('overall_footer');


And Remark it out like this:
/* REMARKED FOR COMPATIBILITY WITH CLAN MTS THEME FORUMS */
//$template->pparse('overall_footer');
/*********************************************************/


That should stop the forums be al thrown off.

Yes, that particular theme needs an adjustment, as Telli suggest.

Removing the last two lines in overall_footer.tpl will fix this.

find and remove (last 2 lines)
