Status Bar message with NO Javascript
First you need to open up the page you want this to run on. the put this inside the tag:
onLoad="window.status='MESSAGE IN HERE';" onUnload="window.status='';"
Just replace MESSAGE IN HERE with whatever you want to display in the status bar. Leave the second half (onUnload...) alone! This will make sure that the status bar resets once your visitor leaves the site. Most browsers do this for you, but not the older versions or Opera! Note: Don't make the message too long! |
