this just started happening last few weeks on my comp and need it fixed.

Every picture i try and save auto saves to bmp . When i right click on pick and choose where to save it - the drop down box which used to have bmp gif and others now only has bmp in it.

So now i cant save moving pictures, Well i can but once saved - they dont move anymore.

Any idea as to what can be causeing this or why or what i can do it fix it.

The pics are starting out as gif on the site i see them but once i save they go to bmp only.

this is more of a hardware issue than anything else. Have you done any recent upgrades to your comp? anything at all that is new you added, a program maybe or new software?

ahhh ty ty ty that worked - the link you gave me fixed it - i had a couple bad files and remvoed them and now i can save as gif and jpeg thanks again
