The block will be good to place 6 featured news or commerce articles by catagory. You can change the catagory background color. Everything else follows your style.css for your theme (although you could change that if you wish.)
It will accept topic icons. It is currently being tested on a phpnuke 7.9 system. We would love to test it on other sites. See the block and more at it's support forum:
