Premature end of script headers in modules.php !

I have suddenly started to get this when i am adding code and there is a syntax error

Basically instead of getting the standard php syntax error when i am missing a ; at the end of an echo line such as:-

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_IF, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/admin/public_html/modules/testmod/index.php on line 418

I now get an internal server error 500, and when i dive into the error log i simply get the Premature end of script headers in modules.php error

Its driving me through the wall and making it very hard to debug any code issues now and in the future.

btw if i refer to the file in another way instead of [ Register or login to view links on this board. ]

and instead cut straight to the file by referring like this:- [ Register or login to view links on this board. ] the syntax checking error pops up ok !!

I tried overwriting modules.php but to no avail

Whats the link to the site? Have you tried turning on error_reporting via htaccess to see if it shows any errors?
