I am running nuke6.5 and teh Yahoo theme from Rigsnet.com...

My CZModules is doingthe same thing with displaying the Quicklinks "Home" and "Bookmark Us" but everything else is in the dropDown box.

How can I fix this. I'm not asking for a "Fix this for me." I would rather get some suggestions so that I can become more proficient with teh whole thing.

Thanks,

Dane

Did you set the categorys in the admin>modules.php page? The first time you set it up you have to make the categories then assign the modules to thier categories.

When you say "set the categories" do you mean manually setting that in the modules.php document or from teh Admin panel.

I tried categories in teh Admin>Modules console. It had "General" and I created a few categories named the same as the modules that were loaded but it didn't change anything.

Then I tried "edit Categories" and all it gave me was teh typical "Show" and "Left Right" and such.

I would lay money on teh fact that I am doing something wrong but am not sure what.

When you make new categories in the admin>modules.php for instance on my site i have General, Members, Community, etc. Then you go to each module and choose edit you will also see a new added function in there too (the categories you made in a dropdown) , its to asign the module to a categorie (General, Members, Community, etc.)

So to assign Forums click edit in the admin>modules.php next to Forums in there you will see a dropdown with the categories you made (General, Members, Community etc.) you would choose Community and then update and the Forums link would be in the Communtiy categorie. This needs to be done for initial install then after this when you add new modules you just asign them to a categorie.

I got the exact same results...after adding categories they did not show up, all that was in the menu tree was quicklinks...It even took all my inactive modules away that you see when logged in as admin. I freaked out, so I restored my backup files. Was this a bug that you fixed with that new block-modules you said to re-upload? Thx.

It had something to do with the permissions on the zip for some reason some of the file got left behind. So yes please upload the new block-Modules.php in the downloads section. Funny thing is only a few where affected. icon_eek.gif

Thank you I will try again icon_smile.gif One other thing...I have Nuke 6.9 and I downloaded the spell check you have here and cannot get it to show in my forums, I did everything as said in the install read me...I see it in the forums admin...and I added an english dic. but when I go into the forums and make a post there is no "spell check" button like you have. This is a little confusing to me, it says this in the instructions:

#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
<tr>
<td colspan="9">
<span class="smalltext">
<textarea name="message" rows="15" cols="35" wrap="virtual" style="width:450px" tabindex="3" class="post" onselect="storeCaret(this);" onclick="storeCaret(this);" onkeyup="storeCaret(this);">{MESSAGE}</textarea>
</span>
</td>
</tr>

I don't even have this line in the "templates/subsilver/posting_body.tpl" I mean there is no < span class="smalltext" > line in there anywhere. I realize this is not your mod...but was hoping for a little help installing. Thank you, echo

**Update** I do have one in there similar...but instead of it saying "smalltext" it says: "gen"

look for this:

<tr>
         <td colspan="9"><span class="gen">
           <textarea name="message" rows="15" cols="35" wrap="virtual" style="width:450px" tabindex="3" class="post" onselect="storeCaret(this);" onclick="storeCaret(this);" onkeyup="storeCaret(this);">{MESSAGE}</textarea>
           </span></td>
        </tr>

Then after add your code:

<tr><td colspan="9" align="right">
<input type="button" class="mainoption" value="SpellCheck" name="button" onclick="openspell();">
  </td></tr>

Make sure you do it for every theme you use.
