I had a client swear that he clicked on my brochure module and a porn popup POPPED UP! icon_sad.gif

it this a hack? or is it just his cpu?!?!?! how is it possible?

did someone hack my site? I thought you couldn't hack any php that had:

if (!eregi("modules.php", $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'])) { die ("You can't access this file directly...");


in your indexes?

how can you find out if your vulnerable?
could you hack my site telli hehe...
if i write a html doc. with just an embedded .MOV can someone hack it if I dont have some 'die script'?

sorry for the newbie question, but just alittle concerned... I don't expect a 101 on how to hack html or php... just an explaination?!?!?!?

the better question to ask is...is there anyone else getting the same pop-up?

if someone were to "hack" your site, trust me, they would do worse things than just add a pop-up

ok... for example if you DID NOT do the Reviews/index.php vulnerability fix, does that leave you helpless to someone crashing your site? Do they hack your site by other means then getting into your ftp?

man this a hard question to ask ummmm

Is there any way you can find out if your vulnerable? like a 'php firewall...' lol TIA telli... this forum makes me feel better... My site is almost done. I have a few more videos to make and you are welcome be my guinee pig... hehe.

Motozen you need to install all these fixes or someone can very easily hack your site. The " if (!eregi("modules.php", " does nothing but stop some one from viewing the page without going through the modules.php?name= or admin.php?op= authorization. All fixes are suggested as of lately alot of sites are being defaced.
