Had a look...not sure what Im looking for....But I think the problem maybe that the members group is not 7 as I thought it was.
To make sure...in what table and where do I find the number for a particular group?
In the _bbgroups table it shows
group id 7
group type 0 the other 2 groups show a 2
group description blank
group moderator 2 (i think that is the member id #??)
Group single user 0 same as the other groups

In the _bbuser table it lists group id as 7 with several user ids having a couple other #s listed also (these members belong to a couple groups) and some have a group id # that doesnt relate to any group in bbgroups with a name but group description as personal user (above)

In the table _groups there is one group called snr members I think this is separate to the forums group??

In the table _users I dont see anywhere listed for groups so I assume this is handled in the _bbuser table?

Go to forums admin and select edit for this group. View the page source and look for the group id#.

For some reason the "source" doesnt come up on that page completely...does others???

In the _bbgroups table it shows
group id 7


Is that it?
