With NukeStyles being completely out of commission now .. does anyone here know where one can obtain a copy of Enhanced Downloads v2.1 (EDL v2.1) ?

It kinda sucks now being that the most popular PHP releases in either Portals, Modules, Blocks etc etc are all disappearing.

I recently put together a cool site for my daughter and her JKA Clan .. used (what everyone was saying was the greatest release) PHPNuke Platinum 7.6 .. yet TechGFX seems to be non-existant anymore also .. really sucks.

I have a feeling that since Platinum is being dropped off the edge now, people are more turning to something that is stronger and seems newer .. and thats Nuke Evolution, although they are still in the beta stages .. word is .. it's very good, most stable, better support etc etc etc ..

Well, since no one can help in regards to EDL v2.1, and where one can download it from .. I'm just gonna get rid of Platinum completely and go with fork.

I know how you feel....I have tried numerous CMS's and am still looking for just the right one...There are many out there, just have to snoop around a bit, good luck to you, hope you find what your looking for.

I thought once it was purchased you had support for it. We were promised new versions and support. I doubt he ever got a copyright on the module. How can you legally copyright anything that uses PHP? PHP itself is copyrighted. To bad he didnt allow the module to be distributed before he called it quits.

well ive got 3 platinum sites with no problems , techgfx will be opening bk up , but for now if u use platinum nuke u can get great support for it at --http://www.nukeplanet.com/- LOKI is the admin and he has updated platinum nuke and its pretty tight. i alo have looked at fork even tho in beta srages its a tight distro of php nuke , i have another domain im going to try it on but waiting till alla bugs are worked out. spiderfms icon_cool.gif
